Per Webster "A candle is a long slender piece of tallow or wax with an embedded wick, burned to give light."
However, today we use candles for so many other reasons. For example: We decorate our homes with candles, we give them as gifts for special occasions or we burn them for the aroma of which many candles are made of these days.
No matter the reason why we have and use candles, every time you light a candle please remember this:
A candle depicts the three entities of Christ. The candle itself is the Father who is God. When you light the candle, the light is the Son who is Jesus Christ. When you put your hand over the candle and feel the warmth it gives, this is the Holy Spirit that surrounds you which you cannot see, but you can feel and know it is always there. Do you know Jesus? Try Him, you will like Him.
